A chance to meet and get together before the big day. Come and have a drink and watch the sun go down over Windermere.

For those staying in the Lake District for an extended period, we'll be hosting a short hike on Monday (weather permitting). This is a perfect opportunity to get a gentle introduction to Lake District hiking, with some spectacular views of the larger surrounding peaks. After the bulk of the climbing is done we'll break at the Mortal Man pub for some refreshments. Total distance covered will be approx 12km, including 500m of ascent/descent. Times are approximate only. We'll be starting and finishing at the hotel, so no driving required. This walk is a good way to get rid of any lingering hangovers! Those who prefer to avoid the hike are very welcome to join us at the Mortal Man for a drink.
